What happens to the forecasted surplus of £15,550.97?

In short, everything gets reinvested into the club for our members to benefit wheter that is through facility improvements, equipment purchases or the perks we can all enjoy from our membership.

  1. Club Reserves - Any surplus goes into the Cumberland Lawn Tennis Club's reserve fund. The reserves are used throughout the year to make improvements to club grounds, which directly benefit us as a club. For example, the refurbishment of the Women's changing rooms. The Chairperson as part of CLTC Main Committee is continually in discussions about how the reserve is spent, and how hockey members can benefit.
  2. Cost-free access - Unlike many clubs, we do not pay for access to HCC facilities or the reduced bar prices.
  3. Reinvestment into Membership - The committee continually work to ensure we are investing in our membership and improving our club offerings. We plan to replenish our equipment stock levels before the new financial year (1st July) to ensure we are well prepared for the new season.

2025 - 2026 DRAFT Budget

  • We are working with the Cumberland to finalise our budget for the 2025 - 2026 season.
  • We aim to share a finalise version in July when we enter our new financial year.
