What is my role?

  • Act as the first point of contact for EH when the club is the recipient of any EH Disciplinary Actions
  • Ensure that the Club Code of Conduct is maintained and appropriate
  • Chair any Disciplinary meeting which required in response to EHB Disciplinary actions or breaches of the Club Code of Conduct
  • Implement the EH’s Code of Discipline as relevant to the club
  • Maintain records of any Red Card, Matchday Misdemeanour and Disrepute Incidents that the club is the recipient of.
  • Promote EH’s best practice guidance/code of ethics & behaviour within the club and anti-discriminatory practice.
  • Ensure confidentiality is maintained.

What else can you tell me about the role?

The officer is expected to gain knowledge of the EH best practice guidance/code of ethics & behaviour within the club and the EH ‘Proud to Protect’ Child Welfare Policy & Procedures.

They should also have basic administration skills, be able to maintain records, be able to direct the recipient of disciplinary action to the Welfare Officer for support and advice.

How much time will I need to give to the role?

Approximately 10 hours per season,
